Information from the grapevine source has
leaked to us that self acclaimed dance hall
king; Shatta Wale is likely to be enlisted on
the star artistes lined up to meet Naija
artistes on the 24th of May.
The deal that is said to be signed between
Shatta Wale and the management of Ghana
meets Naija is set to be concluded before
the end of today, 13th of April 2014.
According to our source, this new
development is as a result of high demand
from Shatta Wale’s fans to partake in the
one of its kind event in West Africa.
Shatta Wale, it would be recalled, turned
down the offer to perform at the VGMA
awards where he was awarded the Artistes
of the Year.
He later came out with a single where he
dissed Charter House for expecting him to
perform for free while Nigerian artistes
they invited were paid thousands of
dollars.
Earlier, the rumour has it that Shatta Wale
was not considered to feature on Ghana
meets Naija due to conflicts it could
generate with the brand sponsors of the
event and the character Shatta Wale is
believed to portray with his kind of brand
and fans.
