Shatta Wale’s manager Lawrence Nana Hanson
aka Bulldog who was on Thursday May 15
2014 picked up by the Accra police to assist in
investigations into the gruesome murder of
Fennec Okyere who managed Kwaw Kese has
been denied bail and remanded in police
custody until Monday June 2 2014.
The Accra Central Magistrate Court presided
over by Her Worship, Mavis Kwanioo
adjourned hearing of the case and asked that
the accused be remanded in police custody at
the request of the State Prosecutor, Chief
Inspector Senkyi although the accused’s lawyer
believed the accusations were not enough to
put the client on remand.
In a related news, reports gathered by
www.nydjlive.com indicate that Shatta Wale
was absent from the court although many
believed his presence would have been enough
motivation for his manager in this very
challenging times.
Earlier, Shatta Wale had asked his numerous
fans to remain calm and allow the police do
their work as he believed his manager was
clean and would be proven not guilty.
It is however unknown what could have kept
the self-acclaimed dancehall king out of the
court room.
