Buddaman Produces First Ever Medley In Ghana

Buddaman‘Dancehall Emperor’ crooner, Buddaman who recently organized a dancehall show dubbed ‘Dancehall King and Queen, is set to notch up his career.
He has released his first ever dancehall medley in Ghana and promised to put its video on TV very soon.
The medley features interesting dancehall geniuses like Fiifi Selah, Daddy Lynx, Kissa and others on Rebbel Entertainment with Billy Jane as the executive producer.
The CEO of Rebbel Entertainment, Buddaman, explained that the medley was a composition of one instrumental with different artistes on it.
He said it is already enjoying airplay and would soon be on TV to make Ghanaians realise the kind of dancehall acts they have in the country.
Buddaman who has produced almost all the giants in the industry revealed he is coming out with a lot of songs on his next album.
However he wants to produce more medleys to keep the unity and love in the dancehall industry.
The artiste who currently has his single ‘Dancehall Emperor’ all over also has the video of the song hitting 12,559 views on YouTube in just two weeks.
With 17 years’ experience in the industry, the artiste who has done most of his stuff internationally disclosed he is happy dancehall is gaining roots in our creative industry.
“I have advocated for this for a very long time and that’s why I organise the first and second dancehall king and queen in Ghana to preach dancehall and get my brothers and sisters in the game together. And this is one event that made the ghetto youths and the nation recognise dancehall music. Dancehall/reggae is for us and these are the only genres that can make us gain international recognition,” he said.
According to him, he had been advocating and promoting dancehall giants like Bandana and Stonebwoy but thought it was about time he also climbed the stage to offer dancehall lovers in the country the best of dancehall music.
He said he had not encountered much difficulties as an artiste but “it has always been difficult making people recognize or accept my songs and sometimes my attitude on stage as Ghanaian.”
“Some believe my songs sound international and have the attitude of an international artiste but I am 100% Ghanaian,” he said with a smile.
Buddaman has been the brain behind some hits tunes from the likes of Banadana, Stonebowy, Samini, Episode and Fiifi Sela. The dancehall freak also disclosed his team has another big medley coming up which will feature all the dancehall acts in the country and this is going to be an annual project to keep the unity among artistes.
“I believe in unity and that’s why I don’t want to produce or come out alone but rather bring the entire artistes together so we can fight for the music market. Ghanaians should expect more acts from me as I introduce the dancehall queen Kissa this year.”
He said he was doing whatever it takes to make dancehall big so “anyone that I produce or work with should be big, have levels, be proactive and have much energy for dancehall.”
